|Title||Shall Union Square Overshadow the United States?|

This right-wing broadside by A. Cloyd Gill promotes anti-communism and accuses Union Square in New York of being the “fountainhead of the propaganda of discontent.” Union Square and the block that surrounds it are blown up into a looming pillar, shadowing over the United States. Americans are urged to “repel the grave diggers of capitalism,” in a subtitle written in a blood-drenched typeface.
