Happy Patriots’ Day and Marathon Weekend! Did you know that July 4, 2026 is the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence? In honor of this upcoming anniversary and in celebration of Boston's Revolutionary history, the Special Collections Department and the Leventhal Map and Education Center are collaborating on an open house to highlight items for their collections relating to this event, as well as other major events of the American Revolution in Boston.
Stop by the Leventhal Map and Education Center to see our new exhibit, Declarations: Printing A New Nation, which will feature eight copies of the Declaration of Independence. Then, head into our classroom to see related items from Special Collections across a variety of formats.
No reservation is required to attend.
