During this livestream conversation, the 2025-2026 cohort of Small Grant recipients will present accessible, five-minute overviews of their digital projects. Topics include gay travel guides from the twentieth century; seashells and whaling routes; the history of Black businesses in Roxbury; life in colonial Charleston, SC; an Ottoman translation of Joan Blaeu’s Atlas Maior; and an arboreal history of the Boston Common. Some of these projects are already available to read on LMEC’s website, along with a full archive of other digital publications from our Small Grants program.
