About Genna Kane
Genna is a PhD Candidate in American Studies, where she researches the history of nineteenth and twentieth century Boston. Her dissertation focuses on the environmental and architectural history of Boston’s waterfront. She is interested in the history of the waterfront and its recent configurations as a climate resilient space. Genna draws upon a background of public history and nonprofit management in the Boston area, which supports her interest in and research about Boston’s history.
